All child care providers in Michigan (licensed and license-exempt) are required to complete an annual health and safety refresher training. This training is available online through the Michigan Virtual Professional Learning Portal and, on a limited basis, is also offered in person.
Registration
1. Online Training
Register for the Michigan Ongoing Health & Safety Training Refresher 2025 course on the Michigan Virtual Professional Learning Portal.
2. In-Person Training
To find face-to-face training events, visit the MiRegistry Statewide Training Calendar. Search by the course title: Refresher 2025. To find in-person training, use the Training Type filter, select In-Person, and click the Search button.
